What is an Undergip and what is it for? It is necessary? These are some of the questions that we can ask ourselves when we hear these words... The undergrip is an accessory that replaces the original grip that our paddle tennis racket brings, with the purpose of absorbing and dissipating the vibrations that are transferred at the moment of impacting the ball with our shovel, and which are transmitted to our hand or wrist, and from here to our elbow or shoulder, and thus avoid injuries such as epicondylitis, and in turn gain comfort.

Once the undergrip is on, it is necessary to put on the number of overgrips that each player considers based on their tastes. And why are these vibrations transmitted? Well, there are multiple possibilities... that we use a racket that is too heavy for our physical characteristics, a racket that is too hard or a poor execution of hitting the ball are some of the possibilities... but let's not forget that we can also have a previous chronic injury that causes us discomfort or pain at the moment of impacting the ball due to the simple fact of said impact.
